Fiona in Wonderland part 5

Ch-5: A Garden of Gossip

Going through a garden at normal height is usually a walk in the park. But for Fiona, and her current small stature it was like walking through a jungle. As she walked she heard a bunch of chatter and gossip, coming from somewhere.

Fiona: H-Hello? Is anyone there?

At first glance, all that stood were the Tree-like flowers...

Fiona: I guess nobodies here...

??: Huh? What was that?

The sudden voice surprised Fiona as she saw a Rose looking down at her. As the rose bloomed she saw the face of Amy Rose infront of her.

Amy (Rose): Well would you look at that.

Fiona: Wow....

She looked around and saw Rouge the White Rose,Vanilla the daisy and her youngling Cream, and Blaze the Violet looking down at her all amazed.

Fiona: Um...Why are you all looking at me?

Rouge: Isn't it obvious? You're just the weirdest thing around here.

Vanilla: Rouge, don't be so rude. I think she looks quite nice.

Cream: Me Too.

Fiona smiled abit as she heard this.

Fiona: Well um...Thank you.

Blaze: But you're obviously not a flower, are you?

Fiona: No...I'm a Fox.

She sat down and looked at everyone and everything.

Fiona: This is just.....Wow. I never really knew that Flowers could talk.

Rouge: Of course we can talk! Where are you from?

Amy: Rouge, don't make her feel embarrassed...

Fiona: Well it's a little hard to explain.....

Vanilla: Just say where you need to go...

Fiona: I'm actually following this white bunny, but i'm too short for that now...

Cream: Awww...

Fiona: Yeah....And now everything's so big I..I don't even know where to go now...

Amy: Hmm....Why don't you try going to Knuckles, The Caterpiller?

Fiona: Who?

Rouge: Yeah! Knuckie knows just about anything! He can probably tell you how to change yourself back to your normal size!

Fiona: Thanks! Where can i find him?

Amy: Just follow those grass stems, the ones with the dew drops, and it'll lead to a clearing. He'll basically lead you to him from there.

Fiona: Thank you! Thank you so much!

And with that the flowers waved good bye as Fiona ran off, heeding their advice.

Later as she headed down to the clearing....

Fiona: Huh? What the-Colored Smoke?! Where's that coming from?

As she walked she saw a red caterpiller on top of a large emerald smoking out a pipe.

Fiona: Knuckles....

Soon Knux heard her voice and eyed her.

Knuckles: Who are you?

Fiona was a bit nervous, but she gathered all her bravery and spoke up.

Fiona: m-My name is Fiona Fox.

Knuckles: Interesting....*smokes again* Mind telling me "Y" You're here?

Fiona: Well i'm having kind of a uh..."Small" Problem here and i was kind of hoping that, since you know everything, I was wondering if you could find a way to change me back to my regular size.

Knuckles narrowed her eyes at the girl...

Knuckles: And what's wrong with with being short, huh?

Fiona: Oh uh sorry, it's just i know being short is ok for a wise caterpiller like you. But for a girl of my age, well it kinda seems a bit....odd looking.

Knuckles:.......I see your point. *puffs out an arrow* You See those Mushrooms?

Fiona: Yes...

Knuckles: one side will make you grow taller and the other will make you grow shorter.

Fiona walked over to the giant mushroom.

Fiona: oh...

Knuckles: But be careful not to eat both at once.

Fiona: Ok. Now which side is which?

Knuckles: Depends on how you look at it...

Fiona: *grabs two pieces...* Hmp! In that case i don't care. *...and eats one* I'm just tired of being three inches High-YI!!!!!!!

This sudden shock was because the mushroom had started to make Fiona grow at a rapid pace, and through a tree where a sleeping Wave The Swallow was napping.

Wave: huh?! What the heck is-

As she looked down all she saw was her nest on top of Fiona's now gigantic head

Wave: AHHHHHHH!!!! SERPENT!!! SERPENT!!!!!

Fiona: whoa! whoa! whoa! Cool it birdy, i'm not a serpant!

Wave: Oh? Then what ARE you then?

Fiona: I'm a Fox!

Wave: And i suppose "Foxes" eat eggs?

Fiona: Well not birds eggs if that what you mean...

Wave: HA! You eat eggs! That's good enough for me! SERPENT!!!!

Fiona: UGH!!! Wait a minute...The other half!

Fiona quickly took the other half and swallowed it whole.

Wave: I swear, I am going to get Jet to have us move to another Nest. One where there aren't many ser--AHHHH!!!

Pretty soon Fiona started to shrink again causing Wave to nearly fall and land right on the branch where Jet was.

Jet:.....I aint even gonna ask.....

Back on the ground...

Fiona: Wow! What a ride!

Knuckles: That's why i told you to be careful. One small lick can make you grow two yards higher.

Fiona: Thanks for the tip.

As she took two more pieces, she took a small lick which made her twice her heigth and then with a small nibble on the shrink piece, she was soon her normal size.

Fiona: Hmm. Thats better.

Knuckles: So i believe i'm no longer in your services, huh...?

Fiona: That's all i needed help with. Thank you. I'd best be off now! Bye!

And with that said, the young Fox took her leave.
